Many U.S. airports, in conjunction with the FAA, have developed programs to tightly seal homes in low-level flight paths to reduce noise and avoid the introduction of fumes and jet fuel residuals.
Aldes ENERGY STAR rated Blending Ventilators (BVS) are the preferred method of supplying fresh air to these homes. Blending Ventilators draw air from inside a home, mix it with fresh air from outside the home, pass the tempered air through a filter, then distribute the air to living spaces in the home. The BVS is an extremely effective and efficient way to introduce fresh air into tightly sealed homes, and because it slightly pressurizes the home, it prevents unwanted contaminants from entering.
